The shopping scene in Thailand is as diverse and varied as can be found anywhere, with a vibrant mix from the East, West and Asia leading to products, goods and services from all cultures being readily available.
Pattaya has two department stores, one large, Mike's and one smaller, Serene and these sell designer and major name-brand goods at full prices, no haggling. There are several shopping malls, which hold boutique stores giving the same feel as a department store and selling the same type of brand-name goods at the same prices. There are four mega-stores now operating in Pattaya. These do not stock designer name-brands but who, nevertheless, stock a full range of good quality goods at far cheaper prices.
