Thailand has top class movie theatres and cinemas and Pattaya is second to none. There are two centres to choose, the oldest in Pattaya being the Royal Theatre in the Royal Garden Plaza with two movie screens and the latest and more lavish Central Multiplex Cinema in the Big C Festival Mall with six screens. Both show the latest movie releases, usually only one or two weeks behind the release in the USA. Movies are normally shown with original soundtrack, however, an occasional showtime shows a dubbed Thai language version. The seats are roomy and comfortable, but if you are prone to feeling cold bring a warm garment as the air conditioning can be chilly.
