The Thailand night life entertainment scene is renowned and Pattaya has unique cabaret shows which are world famous. Alcazar and Tiffanys are transvestite cabaret shows which play to packed houses every night of the year. Wearing lavish costumes and under elaborate sets, the cast is made up of 'boys' who sing, dance and joke through the highly entertaining show, giving great pleasure to the thousands who visit. There are other shows around Pattaya with the same theme but which are less grand or sophisticated, but which still provide great entertainment.
Many go-go bars and clubs offer late night stage performances of 'exotic' dancing involving male and female, female and female and male and male. These tend to be behind closed doors.
Daytime entertainment shows perform throughout the day and cater for the whole family. If you like animal shows, choose between crocodile, elephant, snake, bird and monkey shows. The main ones are at the Pattaya Crocodile Farm, Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, Pattaya Elephant Village, Jomtien Monkey and Snake Showhouse.
